In 2021, I set out to create a website for a carpet shop. My goal was to create a visually appealing and user-friendly website that would help the shop attract more customers and increase sales.
To begin the process, I first researched the latest web design trends to get an idea of what was popular and what would work best for the shop. I also looked at the websites of other carpet shops to see what they were doing and to get inspiration for my own design.
Once I had a solid understanding of what I wanted the website to look like, I began the coding process. I used HTML to structure the website and create the different pages and sections. HTML is a standard markup language used to create the structure and layout of a website, and it allowed me to create headings, paragraphs, images, and links.
Next, I added the visual elements to the website using CSS. CSS is a styling language used to control the layout and presentation of the website. With CSS, I was able to control the colors, font, and overall design of the website to make it look professional and attractive.
One of the main features of the website is a product gallery that displays the different carpets that the shop has available. I created this using a combination of HTML and CSS, with the HTML providing the structure and the CSS controlling the layout and design. Users can easily browse through the different carpets and click on any that they like to see more information about them.
Another important feature of the website is the contact and about page, which allows users to send a message to the shop and learn more about the history of the store and the owner.
Overall, I am very pleased with how the website turned out and I believe it will be a valuable asset for the carpet shop. It is visually appealing, easy to navigate, and provides users with all the information they need to make a purchase.
